I can’t possibly be the only person out there that has accidently deleted an important document from a USB, only to realise that they weren’t done with it and they had no back-ups. While looking at 100s of programs out there that say they do this, a lot were not free and if they were, they were only a trial. Until I came across ‘DiskDigger’.
This Windows application allows for a user to go through any traces of data/files found left on a media storage after deletion. I have used in multiple times on USB drives, and even on my own HDD after I emptied my recycling bin.
The user interface may be a little tricky for someone who doesn’t know much about computers, but using it is simple, and fast. Which is what you really want from this type of program.
