On 09.08.19, In In this tutorial we are going to make a gooey effect text.
As usual, we are going to started with a new document. Transparent background and large size (I used 800×500). At first step write a text that you want:
Now, create a new layer, select the “pen” tool and set it shape layers. Change the opacity layer to 80%, select a green or yelloow color, and ready to paint! Shape one of the points like that:
Zoom in, to do it more easily. Now make irregular forms with the “pen” tool, and try to imitating something gooey. The next steop is to go to “Bevel and Emboss” aply it and ready. Change the opacity to 100% again:
Repite the process to the other points, delete thetext layer and create a background layer, set it in white for example. The result will be someting like that:
Now you can add more thinks like drops, with the same method (the pen tool):
