This is a Tutorial on how to create a forum Signature. Hope it helps!
Step 1: After you open open photoshop (obviously) You create a new document size 400 x 130 pixels

Step 2: Find a stock , I used this one for this tutorial:

(Resized for this tut)
Step 3: After you have chosen your stock image place it in the canas you are working and resize it to your preference , most stocks focal look best in the center , use ctrl + t to resize the image press shift while resizing to maintain proportions of the image , in this case it should be knda like this:

Step 4: Now , duplicate the layer and click on the eye of the first layer to make it invisible so that if you mess up you can always go back. Select the visible layer or layer 2 and start creating some depth to your tag. Using the blur tool with a soft brush , blur everything around your focal the farther from the focal the more blurred it should be. I got this result:

This allows the focal to be brought out more and create a more visible focal , I blurred the arrows feathers to let the viewwer know that they are behind him.
Step 4: Now duplicate the layer again. This time grab the sharpen tool with a soft brush and brush the focal lightly to make him a bit more visible and create more depth. My Result:

Step 5: search for a great c4d that goes with what want for flow in your tag , I used this one:

Erase all the unnessecary areas that obscure the focal , Use the blending modes to change the effect. In this case i used dissolve and set it to 60% opacity to create an effect that looked like he was dissintegrating in the wind. My result:

Step 4: Find another good c4d to add more flow to it , I used this:

I transformed it vetically so that the lines in the bottom are flowing up. Again using the blending options I set to hard light and erased anyhting over the focal that didnt look right. My result:

Step 5: I thought i still needed something so i added another c4d for more flow , I used this:

This added a bit of more flow and lighting to it , I placed the light glow in the center of c4d on top of the tip of the arrow and set it to blnding mode of lighten and 20% opacity. My result:

Looks abit weird but we’ll change that as we go on.
Step 6: Now we’ll work on text. I like working on text now rather thanlast for the simple fact that it also creates depth and blends in better rather than on the top of all the layer where the text a take away from the focal. Use your preference of font and always use the right colors if there is anyhting that ruins a tag its the font. I like to use gradient overlays for my text and i always use the color within the tag and experiment with the blending modes. My result:

Always place font close to focal but always be discreet!
Step 7: Now we work with layer adjusments. In the bottom of the layers pallet theres a few buttons , the 4th one is the adjustments tab , click on it and click on photo filter. A window will now open , on the scroll down menu I chose to use Deep red with a 32% density. Set the blending mode to Linear bur and 30% opacity. This is my result:

A bit dark but i’ll work around it. Keep experimenting with the adjustments add more or less and when you feel its right continue to the next step I added a couple of more adjustments and thhis is what I got:

Better? I think so!
Step 8: Now that you got all that done add a cloud stock and set it to Linear light at 20% opacity then duplicate the layer. My Result:

Step 9: Create a new layer and apply the image. Go to filter>blur>gaussian blur set it to about 1.5 and then erase the blurring above the focal. Then create a new layer apply image yet again and then filter>sharpen>sharpen then go to edit>fade sharpen and set it to 35% , then erase the sharpening around the focal. My result:

Step 10: Use the burn tool and the dodge tool to add proper lighting to your tag (use a soft brush) My Result:

That is the end result if you want you can add a border but i think we all now how to do that by now!
