Most Annoying Software of 2009

Starting off we’ll tell you whats the least annoying to the most annoying.

10.Windows Software Manager

Serouisly how simple is it to remove an unwanted software from your pc? Your PC’s default software manager should have no problems uninstalling programs because that’s what it’s made for right? Wrong. Personally i’ve had problems with window’s software manager over and over again when uninstalling programs like java and microsoft office 2007. It’s common problem is that it gives an error that says missing file but no suggestion/solution or specfic error code to help lookup the problem or anyway to solve it by what you can usually do for a stuck problem, restart your pc.

9. Winamp

I’m not so sure why winamp is bad but i’ve heard it crashes under vista alot and it doesn’t play anything from time to time like a regular software should. More specfic details are in those problems but basically it doesn’t work well with vista.

8. Apple Quicktime

Definetly a good reason why this is 8. Apple’s quicktime player sucks! Why would anyone use it when the majority of mankind uses windows media player. The truth is apple isn’t good at software design because their most succesfull design(of the ipod) was from outside companies. Quicktime is incompatible with common video formats which only forces people to use other players like WMP.  The annoying part.. everytime you’re browsing something on the web and there’s some embedded mpg’s and mp3s quicktime will open up and crash your pc. And what sucks even more is that Windows software manager and quicktime work together to annoy the crap out of. Meaning once u install quicktime it doesn’t properly  uninstall and everytime you’re browsing at mpg’s and mp3’s that half broken peice of shit(uninstalled quicktime) will pop up and crash your browser or pc. Apple sucks that explains this all.

7. AVG Free

Hey a free anti virus software! What’s better then a software letting you know of any threats in your pc? One that doesn’t! AVG has a tendency to show pop ups for every spyware detected. How annoying can this be? Very! Because not only does it show you the pop up it also slows down your pc by running extra processes. My advice go with anti avira.

6. Flash

Why is this the 6th most annoying software? It’s actually not the software but it’s those companies that use it to make those annoying ads! Have you ever seen those ones like knock out osama for a free gift card? Or those one that say winner! this is not a joke! And “flash” with many colors? You know that’s pretty annoying right? It’s flash running all those ads.

5. Microsoft Outlook

Microsoft outlook can crash sometimes but that’s not problem..when you are working on an email and outlook crashes it doesn’t remember what you were working on. Also everytime you receive a graphic email outlook will ask you everytime if you want to load the images, there’s no do not ask me this again option so you have to press yes everytime which does slow you down. Outlook 2007’s New Features Suck. The to do list has an”x” near it which i’ve pressed to many times by accident, they should remove that and as well as change the buttons that have been moved around and  have gaps in between them.

4. Adobe reader

This software is way too big to just be reader..and it is. Adobe reader is over 100mb when there’s an avaliable software for 5mb that has the same exact functions as adobe reader. Expect it loads pdfs faster and doesn’t slow down your pc by doing something simple as reading a pdf. This software is Foxit Reader. I recommend it because it loads much quicker then adobe reader. Do install adobe reader because it’s an annoying slow 100mb installation.

3. RealPlayer

I’ve got my own opinions on this one! Man is this player crappy or what? I noticed how it plays video files compared to windows media player. It doesnt even compare realplayer lags video and shows color distortation when the video is in motion. It also is very slow and will probably freeze your pc like it did to mine.

2. Norton Antivirus

I’ve used this anti virus many times before and even i’ve noticed it slows down your pc alot. That’s the main problem it has soo many processes running it hogs all your memory and slows down anything else your running. It doesn’t sound like a big deal but trust me every time you run norton it will lag your pc soo bad you cant even see the mouse move and if you click something you’re screwed because it will probably take forever to open or it will freeze.

1. Apple itunes

Omg this is the  MOST ANNOYING software!! I use at everyday and i’ve noticed how it’s annoying at everything, synching with my iphone, ipod, copying songs, playlists. Starting off with iphone. When you connect your iphone to itunes it will usually do a long backup of it, if you have big files then you’re going to have to wait longer..so much longer that it will make you think itunes is frozen. Everytime you download apps on the iphone from the app store and connect it to your pc it will prompt you to copy the apps to itunes and if you say no it will delete them. Not to mention everything takes long in itunes when it comes to synching. In the ipod a playlist must be the same exact as the one it synched with in the ipod/iphone. If you change it you have to sync it. And if you take your ipod to your friends house you can’t sync any songs there because it will ask you to erase everything! I swear to god i see this everytime i connect my iphone to my pc. It always ask to erase all songs in my iphone library idk why it asks that but this is one hell of an annoying software.
