What is a key logger?
Well a key logger is a handy little piece of software, what it does is record every keyboard button pressed in a easily readable word format, this allows the person who records the data to read everything you typed on your computer.
Are they illegal?
No key loggers are not illegal, they can be used for security measures to see who has been using your computer and what have they been up to during that time.
Is it invasion of privacy?
In a way yes, if you use one you will see what some one as been doing on the computer, you could read any messages they sent, chat documents, but only one sided! You will never see what the other person replies though.
Why would I use one?
One reason a lot of people use a key logger is to check on their partners, if you don’t trust them this is a great way for you to keep an eye on them and make sure they are not cheating. A lot of people have used a key logger and found out that their partner is not been faithful.
Who else use them?
Hackers use a key logger to I’m afraid they send it to your computer and record all the data you type, this way they can get your passwords and even credit card details if you use them on the internet.
Where can I get one?
Use the internet to find them, home key logger is one that I have used before it can be found on google and downloaded and used for free, I do stress that you DO NOT use a key logger for any illegal activities.
