Here I’ll give a tutorial on how to write text on photoshop.It’s simple, you just need to be a little creative and know some tools…
1. So, firstly you have to make a new document…
- File-> New…
And this will open a window to choose what kind of preset you want, here you choose:
- Preset- Web
- As for the size whatever you want…I will choose 1024×768
Well if want to write on another picture you have don’t do the above, do the next i’m showing you.
File->Open and choose your picture. A quicklier way is to drag and drop your photo into the program Photoshop. If you do this skip step 2.
2. Our next step is to add colour on our background.
- Edit->Fill…Use:”Black” if you don’t want black choose instead of “black” “colour” and choose the one you want.
And know we can start writing!
3. Now choose the Type tool. And your colour.
And write down whatever you want…:p
And now we will start giving our text a cool effect!
4. Duble click on the empty area of your text layer. It must be down to the right…
- This must open you a dialog box with some effects…click on “bevel and emboss”.
And do the next showing settings.
You can always play with the “gloss contour” the “sixe the “depth” and the “style” to make more effects…
- Now we will add a glow: Click on “Outer glow” and here you can choose the colour of light you want and set the “size” of the glow and the “contour” on your own taste…Mine now look like this down here
5. Now I’ll show you how to make your text Colourful…like that one I’m showing you next…
To do this add the “Gradient overlay” effect and choose the gradient of your taste…you can even make your own new with the colours you like….
