Before starting the software, create a new folder in your site name (hint: create it in “My Documents”!) Where you will store all the html pages that you will develop. In the folder you created, build another folder called “images”, where you will put all the images you need for your site. Then run Dreamweaver, click on “site”, then “new site”. In the window that opens, give all the information requested from you: “site name”, “local root folder” (this is the file we created earlier!), Specify the local server, then confirm at the end. Your site is now ready to be created!
