This will be on how to stop random pop ups and things called Malware (type of annoying pop up).
OK to start off if you have annoying pop ups on you computer from Internet, or from malware and want to get rid of it you have come to the right place.
To start off these pop ups are put on the Internet to advertise even tough some can her harmful to you computer. These are called malware. Malware is a pop up that looks like a computer program that is scanning you hard drive for viruses but really its fake. All so usually at the end of its fake scan it will tell you to down load something to fix it but it will just hard your computer more. So this guide will tell you how to get rid of both of these problems.
There is two ways you can fix this and you have to use one or the other depending on how bad the malware is.
First option
You will use this option if you can at least get on your Internet and be able to download a program then install it.
Second option
You will use this option if you turn your computer on and you get to your login page on start up and it will come up with a blue screen saying “dumping physical memory” or some thing along the lines if that. Or you can use this option if you can get to you desk top but you browser wont load or malware pops up and wont let you do Any thing.
So now scroll down to the option that fits your computer
Option one- So the first thing you need to do is open your browser and type in the URL bar the link below.
http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
Go to the left hand side and click the download button. You can also purchase there soft ware but the free version (not trial) works great.
Now once you have it installed or the install fails because of malware you will have to use option 2.
Now next once you have it downloaded and install there should be a icon on your desk top named Malwarebyte’s with a red icon(click it)
Once it opens it will make a update on the software and then will open to a screen with tabs on the top navigate to the scanner tab. There you can chose if you want to do a full scan of your computer or a quick scan. Then simply hit scan and let it search your computer. Once it is done then make sure that it tells you the problems were fixed.
IF YOU RUN INTO ANY PROBLEMS WITH OPTION ONE TRY OPTION TWO
Option two- OK the first thing you need to do is tap the F8 (function key) and then wile your tapping that key turn your computer on. You will see your normal loading screen and then it will bring you into a menu with a few options. Using the up and down arrow keys go to Safe mode with networking. Then hit the enter key. You will see a lot of scrolling text don’t worry this is normal. Another thing is when booting into safe mode your computer may look a little different. Now once the scrolling text is done it should bring you to your login page login and let your computer load. As you may notice in safe mode windows doesn’t let your computer load anything on its start up menu.
Now that your in safe mode you can get on the Internet to download the software that will get rid of the malware.
So the first thing you need to do is open your browser and type in the URL bar the link below.
