This is a short little video that will show you how to show or hide the known file extensions.
This is a really short video that I have made that shows users with vista how to show or hide the known file extensions on their computer. For example. If you have a file named “test”, how will you know what that file is?
This video will show you how to enable the file extensions so that files like “test” become “test.exe” “test.txt” and etc.
This also comes in handy when you don’t have a clue what type of file one is when you’re looking at it.
If you don’t know the little images that are shown by certain file types, this can be extremely hard to find out what type of file one is when you don’t know the extension.
