Step 1: Download the executable file of Wamp server from the Wamp download website.

Step 2: After download, double click on the executable file, and you will be able to welcome window.

Step 3: Click on the Next button and the following Setup window appears.

Step 4: Select the radio button “I accept the agreement” and click on the Next button.

Step 5: Now a window will appear which will be asking you destination folder to install the Wamp server. Either you may keep it same or you may change the destination folder by clicking on the Browse button or simply write the address of the destination folder in the address field and then click on the Next button.

Step 6: Now a window appears for selection additional tasks. If you want to add the wamp server icon in Quick launch then check the check box for creating Quick launch icon, similarly if you want to create Desktop icon then click on the check box for creating the desktop icon. And when every thing is done then click on the next button.

Step 7: Then a Ready to Install window will appear with the details of your choices made by you while installation. If you find every thing alright, then click on the install button.

Step 8: After clicking on the Install button, then “Installing” window will appear and the installation will continue in the destination folder as chosen by you. After installation a prompt will appear, if you have Mozilla Firefox installed in your system, for choosing Firefox as the default browser with Wamp server. If you chose yes then FirefoxFirefox will be chosen default browser for Wamp server.

Step 9: Before finishing Installation the setup will ask for PHP mail parameters, if you have the mail parameters setup, then give the proper SMPT and Email IDs, else you may leave the field as it is and click on the next button.

Step 10: After completing step 9, at last comes the Setup finish window. If you want to start Wamp server, after completing the setup then check the check box of launch Wamp server 2 now and click finish.

The Wamp server will begin working after clicking finish button. You will be able to see the wamp server working in the status bar.
