How to Create an Emoticon to Windows Live Messenger Using Pivot

It’s easy to create your own unique and animated emoticons for your conversations on messenger, and your friends will be impressed by your abilities to create them.

First of all, you have to know how to create a stickman animation. If you don’t you should go here to see my guide.

For an ideal animation and for it to work, you should make it short. Messenger has a file size limit for you to upload so you need to moderate your length.

After your animation is made, go up to file and then click save animation.

Then save it as a .gif file using the drop down menu that says .piv and change it to .gif.

Then, click save.

On the screen that pops up, where it says shrink frames by 1/1, change it to 1/9 and click OK.

You now have your emoticon. The next thing you have to do is upload it to messenger. To do this, open your messenger and click tools, then Emoticons.

After this click “Create” and then “find image.”

Next, find your image and click “Open.”

Then type in your shortcut and name that you want to use and click OK.

And that is how you do it. Feel free to do this as many times as you want and create your perfect emoticon collection. Also, if you want to upload your animations to Youtube, click here to go to my easy to use guide.
