Experts Column vs. Triond

I was excited to try a new venue, apparently, it wasn’t meant to be.

After writing on Triond for several months, and only having a few pennies to show for it, I decided to try Expertscolumn, after being invited to join.  I signed up, but never received confirmation (I was initially told that I would be contacted with permission to begin writing).

Weeks passed, and I decided to log into my ExpertsColumn account, but was unable to, receiving the message that I had entered a wrong password.  I went through the steps to change my password, but the “change password” screen did not provide anything other than the same log-in screen that had failed before, and I was never provided a temporary password, just a faulty, non-working link.

Having forgotten all about it, a few more weeks passed, at which time I received an e-mail notice stating that “We haven’t seen you at Expertscolumn.com since Jul 16, 2012. We and whole Expertscolumn community is missing you lot.  We want to see you back at  http://expertscolumn.com for you are so prestigious to us.

Remember that if you do not login within next 5 months, your account will be automatically removed from our site. So please try to login today itself and  start posting your columns.”

Now, I don’t know much, but it does seem that if I were considered so prestigious, that I would have received my initial confirmation and also the ability to log in.  So, as it is, I will keep typing away on Triond.  It may not be the greatest earning tool, but at least I am able to use it.

I don’t recall having to wait for confirmation. Don’t give up…it’s just teething problems.

Thanks. I am still willing to try it out, but I guess I will have to create a new account in order to do so.
