Computer Terms YOU Need to Know (2)

They are terms you may have already know or hear about but may not know exactly what they are. Basic terms that you need to know as a computer or internet user. Simply defined for your reading and understanding.

1.      Archive
2.      Pop-up
3.      Hardware
4.      Censorship

Archive: An archive in computer term refers to a safe copy of program or data that is kept in a reserve case.

Pop-up: This is a neat box appears on the computer screen containing a menu of information or warning message. When this box has been dealt with, it is removed leaving behind whatever was on the computer screen earlier.

Hardware: This refers to the physical components or set up of the computer that can be seen and touched. Examples include the computer mouse, keyboard, monitor etc.

Censorship: Censorship is a feature or measure put in place to block the access and distribution of x-rated contents or pages that have adult contents.
