On 12.02.02, In Do you have articles that never make the internet; if so I would like to know.
Articles That Just Don’t Make It
I have written several articles about religion and about the feeling that we are being watched; and guess what, someone apparently doesn’t agree me my words and so they have chosen to place them in my pending box.
Is this not the country of “Freedom” of speech with the power of the almighty “of the Pen” ?

There are times I write an article where I make so many errors in my writing due to the lack of sleep, and they post the stupid article; but if I spill my guts about how I feel or what I think my words are put on hold. The religious article was written in 2009, still sitting there “pending”, the article about being watched was written last night; but if it does not get posted within 24 hours; it never will!
The bottom line we are not free to say or write how or what we think, especially if someone at “Triond” doesn’t agree.
This happened to me, an article sat there for about 3 months. I finally took it it down, retitled it and put it back – it went right through. It must just got misplaced! Good luck with it!
I think that it may have something to do with the advertisers. Triond obviously has to please them. I have had such experiences myself. I made changes to one of these articles and it was posted. The other is still sitting pending.

You made some good points. We are not able to write anything that we like. Some articles are posted automatically and it may have nothing to do with grammatical or spelling errors.
I feel some words in articles must trigger Triond to take a second look. That is when some articles fall into the pending category.

It brings us to the whole idea of what is free speech? For whom?
And under which conditions? Triond exercises editorial rights because it is a private company whose purpose is to make money. We only matter as long as we can fulfill their goals.

Thanks for bringing this up. I didn’t know. This is the country of free speech and we should be allowed to say whatever we please. Well, I’ve had articles in the pending file too. If they take too long to publish it, I either change the title or delete it.
I think it is a computer problem more than censorship. I had this happen to me and I contacted Triond who fixed the problem.
Don’t feel about it. One way or the other, we all experience problems such as this.
