Right click on the My Computer icon and select Properties.

From the System Properties Dialogue box, click on the Advanced tab.

Click on the Error Reporting button right down the bottom.

Now an Error Reporting box is open. Click on the Disable error reporting radio button and make sure that you’ve checked ‘But notify me when critical errors occur’. This is important because if any serious problem happens, you will get the notification.
