Windows Vista cons and pros.
Windows Vista is the latest publicly released windows operating system available for consumers. I have used it for years and have grown very accustomed to using it. This operating system is the major competitor to the popular Mac operating system. However I will only cover the vista operating system and its use.
Firstly, windows vista is visually and graphically appealing to all users. It is somewhat similar to the graphics on a Mac, so vista is good in this aspect. The appearance of vista is one thing that people should be attracted to when using this major operating. One thing I especially like in vista is the aero effects that are used. This aero effect gives the appearance of a clear blurred outline which makes a window seem very nice.
Secondly, there is one bad thing about vista along with other windows operating systems. The files and all your folders are somewhat likely to be clumped up and lost. Which makes it annoying to find directly without using the search which takes a long time to work. Organizing all your documents and everything is virtually impossibly with vista. That is one major complaint I have of this operating system.
Lastly, this operating system’s speed is a major issue. It is quite slow compared to its predecessor, Windows xp. Its other competition such as Mac Leopard is much faster in start up and shut down time. However the type of pc computer you have has an effect over the speed of your computer. Generally a lot of people consider the speed of vista as a reason not to upgrade or choose xp as their operating system. However turning off certain programs can definitely speed up your vista computer.
In conclusion, windows vista is a pretty good operating system. However there are is a lot of room for improvement for windows seven.
