Where is Windows Trouble Shooter? 1

Learning some commands, because Microsoft does not allow you to use DOS as easy anymore. Windows is a dictator, not a democracy.

This article is about what happened to DOS, its hidden now.

Only the really computer literate people really know how to get to it and understand DOS, DOS is what you need when your system is crashing, when your really stuck in your operating system and you need to re configure something in your system Windows acts like a George W Bush its locking you in to deal with it and if you do not know the loop holes in getting around in DOS you will be screwed and no kiss after words.

I have written a small article to prepare you for the mayheim you will have to go into DOS, if you are running Windows VISTA which is not my favorite at all I really do not like this VISTA it slows your system down, you gotta have enough RAM to run a mainframe damn near to have your computer running smooth this is not fare to anyone purchasing a new computer at all not everyone has the finanical background to buy the highest price system there is out here.

I am going to give you some sample commands you can use when using your computer.

Go to the start button click on the start button when you see that part where it says: Start Search

Type in [cmd]

This will allow you to get into DOS mode

The commands are these follow me now.

For all FORMAT commands type:                                                         Format /?

For all Directory commands type:                                                       Dir /?

For all windows interpreter commands:                                             Cmd /?

For configuring system devices:                                                         Mode /?

For all printing commands:                                                                 Print/?

For copying one or more files at a time:                                             Copy /?

For setting time and displaying time:                                                 Time /?

Changing prompt and Command prompt:                                          Prompt /?

Copying one floppy disk to anther:                                                    Diskcopy /?

Provides help information for windows commands:                           Help /?

These commands can be used at the [C:/]

very interesting, on windows Vista I can see why you don’t like it. I just bought a new laptop and unfortunately it is Vista. Major problem I am having with Vista is that it will not shut down the computer. Only way I can turn it off is to hold down the power button..Sucks! To bad Microsoft is phasing out windows XP

Interesting to know this tech stuff, I’m a total incompetent when it comes to hi-tech things. I’ve had XP for years and I wouldn’t change it, mainly because it took me years to learn how to use it! Not sure what I’ll do when Microsoft phases it out.

If you can recommend any system that’s simple to use, please let me know.
