Regedit is a great tool for amateur users to crash their computers. Heck, it keeps us IT guys working; job security.
works on VISTA ???
i know this was posted years ago, but i found it via stumbleupon so this message is for all you stumblers. this key has nothing to do with how fast your computer starts up. it controls how long the indexing service waits before starting its work. lowering the value would probably make your computer take longer to start up.
