More Problems with Windows Vista

This operating system is just not good enough to be sold in the market specially with that price tag. See inside what happens with most programs.

You should not be using Vista anymore. After using it for about one year I am completely fed up with it. Why it is so bad? It uses 3 GB of RAM just to boot up and more if you allow it to. It is 2x slower than XP at least, plus it uses much more CPU than XP not to mention the hard disk size and the price you paid for it. What can you do to your Windows Vista?

Check out this video –

Windows XP does everything Vista plus and then some more because some programs do not work with Vista. It’s even better to upgrade to Linux than to upgrade for Vista.

Windows Vista has still many problems and compatibility issues not solved yet and Microsoft already released a Build of it’s next operating system, the all new Windows 7. While we wait for that operating system that we hope is not going to be the same operating problem like Vista is, he have to deal with many problems Vista gives us every hour.

Very recently I downloaded the portable version of Microsoft Office 2007 to try it in my machine and it worked only for about six or seven hours. After rebooting my laptop, as soon as I click on the icon to launch Microsoft Word the program doesn’t start and Windows says is trying to find a solution but Microsoft does not have any solution to it yet…

I get many times a day this kind of error not only with Microsoft products but also with Winamp, Firefox, Internet Explorer Beta 8, Real Player, Windows Media Classic… almost everything does not work properly with Vista. Thank god the antivirus is running properly so far.

It just so happens that I was cleaning the hard drive and when I saw the amount of space the errors reports were using I lost my breath: +2Gb of errors! Not only Vista does not work with many programs properly but it also writes huge reports to Microsoft. I still wonder who is going to pay the extra bandwidth the computer used to send such reports to Microsoft.

Which products have stupid incompatibilities?

Windows Vista – declares war on almost every program even programs with the same color… seems to be very stupid and never does anything good expect eating disk space and writing big error reports, just to show how good it is to make mistakes. Sometimes Windows shuts itself down for no reason and you have to wait until the computer loads everything again…

Google Desktop – When you activate the advanced features to search your web history and email Google gets amnesia like Mewtwo does in Pokemon and forgets everything in the index and is unable to index anything from that time on. You have to deactivate the advanced features and use only a bit of Google Desktop instead of it’s full power to make it work again properly. When you install Google Chrome and try to search anything with Google Desktop the browser won’t open… even Google products do not recognize their own colors.

Real Player – Windows and Firefox have great trouble making this program run properly. When you want to download any video from YouTube or any other video website you must ask please to Firefox to make it so or Firefox downloads only 1 KB of video, which means only the title and the description, and leaves the rest up to your imagination.

Portable Microsoft Office 2007 – Just doesn’t work more than six hours straight, after that dies forever…

Windows Live Messenger – When you add too many contacts it doesn’t sign in anymore and you have to run it only from a web messenger.

Star Office – Crashes more than ten times a day and you have to recover any document you haven’t saved yet.

Firefox – Shuts down for no reason. Stops responding for no reason… eats too many CPU cycles.

Internet Explorer – I don’t even bother commenting……

NTI CD & DVD Maker – Just doesn’t know how to burn Cd’s or how to make backups with Windows Vista.

Windows Vista cannot burn a DVD under two hours with one of the fastest DVD burners in the market. They just can’t do it. It’s up to 100x time faster to burn anything with Nero.

Will Windows 7 make it better? Or worse?

Thanks for the info. This helps alot. Keep posting! :)

Vista has become the bane of my existence in a very short amount of time. 3.1 was a better operating system than this is.
