How to Log on to Your Desktop Without Entering Your Password

This tutorial will teach you how to log on to your account without entering your password, so in other words your pc will directly start on your desktop.

Are you the only one using your computer ? Would you really care if someone goes on it ? If not, you must be annoyed by entering your password each time your PC starts ? Yes ? This works with Windows Vista only, sorry for Xp’s and 2000’s users, but look up google and you’ll find something. Ifyou follow all the steps everything will work fine. Follow those steps : ( Vista only )

  1. Open the START menu and search for “control userpasswords2″
  2. Go on the “Users” tab, uncheck the “the users must enter a name account and a password to use this computer”. Click on APPLY.
  3. In a new window, select your account, and enter your password, click OK. Windows will start up on your desktop at the starting of your PC.

Only if the person has complete control of their pc at all times. I think this is a major security breach, bypassing the password to allow a bit more access time for start up. Good write though.
