First off you will need a torrent reader program. So lets use utorrnet.

utorrent is a great program especially if you have a old or bad computer it is under 1MB and gets the job done.

Step one download utorrent click Frome utorrent.com (it is free and you do not need to sign up)

one it finished installing you should see this

Click the arrow pointing down 

you should see this click xx/100mbit.  Then Click use selected settings.

Step two download a torrent file. I suggest from isohunt.com but you can find them all over. If you need to get in to http://www.demonoid.com/ here is a username:

Next open the torrent file, and then you should see this (not exactly the same because we are opening different torrents)      

Just hit Ok and your all set. The default folder is in my documentsdownloads for windows XP, and downloads for Vista and windows 7. Keep scrolling down for more advance tools.

tutorial 1: how to change the download location.

Alright when you see this window click the … (refer to image highlighted in black)  

one you click it you should see this window (somewhat different on windows XP)

Just navigate to the folder you want to save it in and click select folder.

Tutorial 2: how to only download certain files from the torrent.

Ok when you see this page you should see the files the torrent contains (refer to image)  

(if it has a plus sign next to it it means its a folder click it to expand) Here you can select witch files you want to download from the torrent. By default all files are selected, but you can change that, just click the box and it will not download.
