First of all make sure that you have a bootable CD with Windows XP and the BIOS settings allow booting first from CD-ROM and then the hard drive.
Start the computer and insert Windows XP CD:
– When the message “Press any key to boot from CD” press SPACE
– Wait until the message “Welcome to setup” and then press ENTER
– Wait for Windows to do its job, then when asked, press F8
– Press D to delete the selected partition
– Then press ENTER to continue and L
– Then press C followed by ENTER
– Quick Select NTFS and press ENTER
– Wait until it reboots
– When booting NOT press any key to occur even if the message “Press any key to boot from CD”
– When the first window appears give NEXT
– Enter Name and Organization
– Click NEXT and enter series
– Click NEXT and enter a password
– Click NEXT to set hour
– Click NEXT and wait
– When the window with “NETWORK” give NEXT
– Leave the “Workgroup” when it appears and then give NEXT
– A to reboot! it’s normal
– After entering Windows, to give WELCOME NEXT
– Click on the green (HELP) and click NEXT
– Press the SKIP
– Click “No,. Not at this time” and then NEXT
– Enter your nickname in the first box and then NEXT
– Click Finish
