I have listed few effective and free softwares and methods to speed up and clear your pc.
Foreword
This is something everyone has to deal with some time, unless they buy new PC every year. It’s simple and Windows even has it’s own tools to speed it but (for example) in Vista these tools are bugged and take very long to execute. I will tell you how to get your PC speed up with default tools but will also reveal few programs which do this faster and better.
Windows Defaults
These can be found in Start menu, you should find System tools or something like that(can’t really say cause i don’t have English PC at the moment). In XP they work pretty decently but with Vista they are very bugged and almost never complete the cleaning or other tasks. I’d say you should avoid these tools as much as possible.
CCleaner
Very good program. It cleans browsing history and windows log files, temporary files of other programs. If you think your PC is getting slower cause of crap that it has to load in order to work, this is defiantly your choice. it can be downloaded at HTTP://www.ccleaner.com/download It’s virus free and never deletes files that you don’t want to. I use it every time i feel my PC is bit too much full of not so necessary files. The only reason this program isn’t all you need, is because it can’t defrag you hard drive. To see how to do that watch next.
Auslogics Disk Defrag
Download link: HTTP://www.auslogics.com/en/software/disk-defrag/download This is what makes your system more stable, faster and better in every way. You really can’t use you PC at it’s full potential if you don’t use this or have Windows XP.
The Final Option
This might be the most efficient way of all but you will need windows disks and few hours of free time. And of course backup all important files on your PC. The windows reinstallation. I suggest this as an final solution if your PC is full of useless stuff and viruses. You can find many guides how to do this here’s one for example. http://www.pcnineoneone.com/howto/clean1.html
