Microsoft Windows Seven

Microsoft Windows 7, It’s finally here and has some great features. Read all about it below.

Microsoft Windows 7, I am sure many of you would have herd about it by now.  In Australia, Windows 7 was released on Thursday the 22nd of October 2009, and what a release it was.  I believe it to be the best releases Microsoft has developed to date.  Why you ask?  Microsoft Windows 7 is a whole lot faster to that of it’s previous operating system, Microsoft Vista.  The operating system has cool new features such as

  • the snapping feature – lets say you wanted to view two different documents you’ve been working on.  Well now it’s easier with the snapping tool.  Just simply drag your open window to the side of the computer screen and it just snaps right into place so it can be easily read.  Just repeat the process with your second document by dragging it to the opposite side of the screen.
  • Pin- the pin tool replaces the old task bar and quick launch function.  If you are familiar with the dock feature on Macintosh computers, it’s very much like this.  You can place your programme icons on the pin and open your software from there.  You can also do this with programme files such as opening up a Microsoft Word document.
  • Cleaner Interface
  • Shake- Microsoft Windows 7 comes with a new feature called shake.  What it does is, let’s say you have more then one window open at a time and you are finding it hard to read because of all the other windows are open, well all you have to do is shake the window you want to read from and all the other windows will disappear and if you want them back, just shake the window you are reading from again and you have all your windows back.  It’s that easy  It saves a lot of time having to minimise the windows.  Trust me it’s a great feature in Microsoft Windows 7
  • The ability to go from standby to what you were working on in the matter of a second

Windows 7 is just a great operating system and I would just recommend it to anyone whether you want to buy a new computer or simply an upgrade.  Why don’t you go out and buy yourself a copy today.  I promise you, you won’t regret it
