Apples Mac OS X is a beautifull operating system, people claim it to be better then windows. Heres why it isn’t.
Apple’s Mac OS X is a beautiful operating system, it looks good and runs smoothly. But there are some problems with the Mac experience. Everyone is always saying mac is better then windows without bothering to say these very important (probably the most important) points.
- You need a whole new machine to make the switch to OS X. (Legally of course, its possible to run it on a pc but that’s illegal)
- Mac OS X has a handfull of platforms that work for Mac, but you can’t use any other then what apple made, on a pc, you can use something you made!
- Mac’s are harder to upgrade because apple decided that they where gonna be greedy and make it so that only they can fix the workings inside of it, some people do still try and are succesfull, but it’s alot harder.
- Mac’s are EXPENSIVE! You can get a great pc for $700-800 bucks, but mac’s are $1000+
Again this article isn’t about why Windows is better because it has this, and that, windows is better because it wasn’t made by greedy morons.

I don’t agree, I respect Microsoft’s abilitie to provide the world with a medium OS, but Apple’s OS is much more refined and polished.
You can buy a Mac Mini, a wonderful desktop computer, for only 600 bucks. Fact #3 made no sense at all. I upgraded my Mac recently and had no trouble at all. And of course you need a new machine to switch to OS X, why would you want it running on a PC? Then it could still get some viruses.
You are such an idiot. Mac is much better than Windows. Mac’s are more secure, faster and overall a much better OS overall. However in my Opinion the best OS is Ubuntu Linux because of Speed, Stability and Freeness. It’s true you can’t install it on a PC but other than that it’s great.
I disagree. Mac is more expensive than PC because it is refined and polished, and its a great OS. The Mac and the OS work well together, so why would you try run it on crappy PC hardware…
The reason Windows it popular is because you can run it on anything, and some PC hardware is really crappy…
