A simple, yet not well known way to get windows seven for free.
I had pre-ordered windows 7 Home Premium for 60 dollars back when they had the preorder discount. I was excited as October came nearer and nearer as I had been using the 1st release candidate since it came out.
However, around the end of September I realized there was a way to get windows 7 for free, and not just windows 7, but windows 7 professional.
If the school you go to or your workplace offers you an MSDNAA ELMS account then you can sign up for an account and download a free copy of windows 7 profession, both 32 bit and 64 bit for free.
This isn’t very widely known, so if you are wondering if you can get an account ask your employer or your professor/advisor.
I hope this helps those of you who can’t afford to buy windows 7 but would love to have it.
