The Laptoper’s Guide to Care your Computers.
- When your computer is turned on or the battery is charging, avoid keeping your hands, your lap,or any other part of your body stay in contact with a hot section of your body, even through clothing for an extended length of time because it could cause discomfort and even a skin burn.
- Route the cables of an AC adapter,a mouse,a printer,or other communication lines so that they cannot be walked on,tripped over, pinched by your computer or other objects.Applying strong force to the cables may damage or break them.
- Before moving your computer, turn it off or put it in sleep mode or hibernation mode. This will prevent damage to the hard drive, and possible loss of data.
- Do not drop, bump, scratch, twist, hit, vibrate, push,or place heavy objects on your computer, display,or external devices.
- Use a carrying case that provides adequate cushion and protection.Do not pack your computer in a tightlypacked suitcase or bag.
- Place liquids away from your computer to avoid spills, and keep your computer away from water to avoid the danger of electrical shock

How many times I’ve seen the kids with drinks at the computer!!!! They just don’t think it will happen. It happens – I’ve seen it happen, more than once.
Very good information. I remember being scalded the first time i touched the laptop battery when it was charging.
Good info sir.
