Want to jailbreak your iPod? Did you update and cant find a guide that is easy to follow? Then this is what you are looking for!
Step 1 – Download
Download an iPod Touch 3.1.2 firmware from this site.
Step 2 -iTunes
Open iTunes.
Make sure you iTunes is up to date.
Step 3 – Preparing Your iPod
Open iTunes.
Click on your iPod under the “Devices” heading.
Make sure you are in the “Summary” tab.
Hold down the shift key and click “Restore”.
Locate your downloaded firmware in the pop-up window.
Confirm and wait.
Step 4 – Jailbreaking Your iPod
Your iPod will be treated like a newly bought iPod.
Setup your iPod name, email, itunes account, etc.
Download Blackra1n here.
CLose iTunes, but keep your ipod connected.
Open blackra1n.exe and click “Let it Rra1n”.
Step 5 – Enjoy!
Your ipod should be jailbroken and have a blackra1n app.
Run blackra1n on your iPod.
Install your choice of Cydia, Rock or Icy.
Then your done!
