With the Consumer Electronics Show due to start next week in lovely Las Vegas, early stories on what will be hot for this year are dribbling out. The Wall Street Journal ran a story on how important Internet TV will be. They may be right, and it’s a decent angle to pursue. There will certainly be plenty of new media PCs at the show and lots and lots of cheap screens. Computer-aided television is a natural outgrowth of that and a cool, cool story to make your audience aware of.
Aside from that, we’re looking over the other hot products that are going to be announced, and we like what we are seeing in remote digital audio systems. These in-house wireless audio setups turn your entire home into a by-zone music lab. They can connect to all sorts of devices, including the iPod. The better systems offer excellent value and decent quality. Here are some cool ones we like:
The Sirius Conductor.
The iHome’s iH21 waterproof wireless iPod speakers.
Avega Wi-Fi Speaker System. Play music, from any source, to any speakers in your home. No boxes. No wires.
The Soundcast AudioCast ACP-200 wireless audio system provides coverage up to 350 feet and is compatible with all audio sources including iTunes.
