Gaming mice these days are a dime a dozen, so when it’s time to choose one, which one do you pick? Check out these features the Wolf King Trooper mouse has to offer at a great price, and you may not have to look any further.
I recently aquired the WolfKing Trooper mouse after my old mouse went kaput. I was looking for a mouse which featured several different DPI speeds, as well as a multiple shot button, for FPS ownage. I got exactly what I wanted in the WolfKing mouse.
The WolfKing Trooper features on the fly DPI switching from three modes: 800DPI, 1600DPI, and 2400DPI. Each of these different speeds is shown clearly on the side of the mouse by a different colored LED: red, blue and green, respectively. The on the fly switching of these modes is what makes this mouse truly genius. It requires no software for the mouse to instantly switch between these speeds.
Another great feature of this mouse is the auto fire selection. With just the press of a button (and again, no software required), you can switch from two, three, and four round bursts from your weapon. These changes are signified by the color of the scroll wheel LED: red, blue, and purple, respectively for each burst. The mouse also features two thumb buttons which can be used as back and forward buttons in browsers, or you can install the software provided by WolfKing to be able to use them, in game. They can be set to virtually any action in game, from on the fly weapon switching, to quick access to taunt over the corpse of your enemies.
From my experiences playing FPSes and using the mouse as a standard computer mouse, I’d say the WolfKing Trooper is a great mouse for any gamer. The customization it allows through rate of fire and DPI sensitivity is unmatched, and the mouse its self comes in four great colors (black, silver, red, blue) which will match any desktop set up or gamer preference.

Comfort is a huge factor when it comes to mice for gamers, and the WolfKing delivers. One of my favorite features is a “thumb rest”. Basically, your thumb sits on a small outcropping built from the mouse, so it doesn’t drag across your mousepad. If you’re like me, you tend to control the mouse with the tips of your fingers, I often find that my thumb is dragging across the mousepad, causing friction. All it takes is such a small amount of friction to cause your aim to be off, which ultimately decides whether you’re left standing, or biting the dust in a heated battle. Throughout my time testing this mouse while playing TF2, no part of my hand touched my mousepad. I found that my aim was consistently better, and I was able to retreat from bad situations where a slower reaction might have otherwise meant death for me.
The mouse feels a little large in my hand, but I do have smaller hands than most gamers, so this might just be me. Overall, I would say if you’re looking for a new gaming mouse which sports tons of features at a nice price, go with the WolfKing. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
