Several points are emphasized by Nokia for this new browser is: browsing speed, Internet access is easier, the user interface is more intuitive, media settings, and easy access to your favorite social network.

The most interesting points of the latest browser from Nokia this to me is speed. Nokia claims that the newest browser on S40 platform can reduce consumption by up to 90% of data that allows users to enjoy faster Internet connections and more affordable.

Nokia has to offer is somewhat similar to Opera Mini. The reader must already know Opera Mini web browser for mobile phones are pretty much used because a lot of built-in browser is available on mobile phones is not good and not suitable for the Internet in a country like Indonesia.

Well…. to see how fastit is actually the latest browser from Nokia this, I compare the performance of speed in opening up a web site (in this example m.detik.com) in the Opera Mini browser andthe latest Nokia mobile phones Nokia C2-03 I use the card with connectivity SIM3 EDGE.

For Nokia browser, I can open the website in the following m.detik.comin 5 trials: 14, 19, 7, 13, and 11 seconds.

As for the Opera Mini, the results dalah as follows: 12, 9, 13, 22, and 21 seconds.

From the data I mentioned earlier, it appears that the browser on the Nokia S40 platform and Opera Mini now in the opening speed of the website was not much different.

This of course means that Opera Mini on S40 platform has a strong rival. Now, the question whether this means that Opera Mini will be many left by the S40-based mobile phone users? The answer to that question is probably yes. Why?

My first reason is to open the Opera Mini browser on S40-based phones, the process is quite long because it must suppress the menu several times.

As for the Nokia default browser can be accessed in one hit because it was available on the mobile phone main display.

My second reason is the default browser view on the latest version of Nokia is also good.

If Nokia actively promoting their latest feature default browser to the S40-based mobile phone users, it may bemany of those who hadbeen using Opera Mini will be moved using the default Nokia browser.
