Pictures of and spec sheets for the purportedly next iteration of Apple’s flagship MacBook Air ultrabooks have continued to be released. Has information been leaked?
With WWDC, Apple’s summer conference in San Francisco, 2012 may hold big things for the ultrabook market. A number of supposed leaks have focused on the new iPhone 5, but the Macbook may hold the most interesting signs of the next generation of technology from Cupertino’s finest.

The new MacBook Airs, replacing models from late-2011, may sport new retina displays – and it’s obvious from the iPhone and many new Android smartphones such as the new HTC One X and more than pixel-dense displays are becoming the norm. Will the new Macbooks hold 16×9 displays or some other ratio? Whatever it may be, Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics cards are supposed to be used in the 11″ updated model, with Nvidia be used for any larger screens.
It should be an exciting day for ever Apple fan! WWDC2012 starts at 1PM ET and many tech blogs will be updating via text almost live. I’d recommend you check out gdgt.com’s and Ars Technica’s coverage of the conference.
