Happy New Year!!
Here is the pick of what you should be downloading this month!
Top 3 iPhone Apps of the Month! 08/01/12
Well happy new year to you all, hope it was a good one and you didn’t get too drunk (and if you are too young to drink, we hope you didn’t drink at all!) The App store has had a good run recently and this month not much has change here is our pick of what you should be downloading this month!
Fifa 12 (3)
Football fans all know that the Fifa franchise is big! But with this app release you can take your football addiction on the go. However you may find that the graphical difference between the actual console and the app are a little disappointing. The detail seem to be PlayStation 1 quality and there are some issues that iPhone 4 users may experience lagging during nightwet games. EA, it may have been an idea to add graphics settings to help sort this issue!
However like the console game the fun and frolics you expect EA to dish out are still here in app form, with the same tactical edge to game that the veteran Fifa users will adore.
So even though the game is hit in some places and miss in others this is still our number 3.

Navfree GPS Live Uk & Roi (2)
Well buying a Satnav can be expensive and cheaper ones are usually problematic, so what would a community ran (ad-supported and in-app purchase supported) sat-”napp” do? Well quite alot really! Navfree’s map is supported by users reporting map issues and new routes with a reporting system, you flag new areas onto the map it is then reviewed and published for other users to see. One or two problems come with this i.e blackspots, when there is absolutely no map information and you are lost isn’t the best situation to be placed in, another is it has a small routing issue with houses with sometimes only having the ability to route onto the street rather then the actual door number. But you cant complain too much as it is a free app and good for getting out of tight spots. Well done Geolife ldt.
GTA3 (1 App of the Month!)
Remember the good old days of ps2 and the launch of the first 3D Grand Theft Auto? Well now you have full access to the game that changed the way games are made today. You find yourself back in the tracks of a dangers bank robber who is jailed for the deed and now you must fight tooth and nail to claw yourself back into the arms of old Librity City. The game is a complete replica of the original on the ps2, which is not that common in the app world. Graphics run quite well on the iPhone 4, which is surprising because the game actually looks better on the iPhone then it did on the ps2. There are some small niggles with the controls (which was expected) it seems that when you use the sprint action you lose a lot of control of the character and end up running into a wall or getting shot. There is a small possibility that we could see another GTA on the market soon (such as Vice City or San Andreas).
(Only avalible via the app store!)
