Will finally come a day where you cannot see any more external cables in the computer and everything will work by wireless or remote control?
The first thing I must say about computers without cables is that this thing is almost impossible. If you consider making a computer run with wireless only, you need to know that wireless is a way to communicate, with radio waves in this case, and that electricity is a power system. They are completely different things.
You simply cannot power a computer without cables.
Electricity will always have cables, or at least in our life time.
Now what will go cable-less for sure are all other computer components that do not require huge amounts of electricity to work and that can run on solar power or bio power with the heat of your hand. The mouse will not need a cable or a battery, the heat of your hand will be enough to power it, and the keyboard the same.
Your computer components inside will have cables because you will not want to open your computer every time to change batteries.
Now, the computer screen needs a lot of power too, else it could perfectly work with wireless only.
Now wireless has one disadvantage you need to be aware of: That advantage is lag. Lag is what happens when you move the mouse and the arrow responds only a second later. This is not accetpable unless you are able to make super fast response time wireless components.
For now, computers will remain almost the same, with cables and kilometers of them!
