A guide for the Speech Recognition System available in Windows seven.
Windows 7 Speech recognition
If you have windows 7 you might want to try out the speech recognition feature,.. that is if you are very patient! This feature in practicality is not ranking very high, and the novelty points are average at best. To use the feature, go to the control panel and select the speech recognition icon. There is a wizard which will walk you through the process of configuring your microphone. Headset mics work the best, and trying to use the mic from a low budget web cam can have you pulling out your hair in frustration, so if you are going to be using this feature for a long time, do yourself a favor and spend a couple of bucks on a good mic. The program will have you read a series of sentences during which time it learns the different styles and patterns of speech in order to more correctly understand the commands you are trying to give it. There are many commands within the program reference guide, the one I find myself using most is “undo that” “delete that” and “forget this,.. I’m going back to typing”!
The paragraph you are reading right now is being typed by me, but when you see it the second time it is a version of the same paragraph typed in notepad by the speech recognition program. I bet you will notice the difference. I will talk straight through and not attempt to correct anything.
The paragraph you are eating right now is being typed by mean when you see it the second time in version of the scene paragraph taking the head of the speech recognition program that you’ll notice the difference Alta street through in a victim to crack anything
Wow, alta street victim…
lol
My advice is to stick to the good old keyboard, unless really bored, then fool around with the speech recognition program. And please double check what you typed before sending it to the “victim to crack anything!” Because you might say/type something that could get you in trouble and didn’t mean to say!
