Samsung’s Lawyers Can Not Tell an iPad a Galaxy Tab 10.1

Apple recently got another victory in court against Samsung, this time with a ban on sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia. But what few people thought was that Samsung’s own lawyers just "helping" to Apple. The reason? They did not know to differentiate the iPad Galaxy Tab 10.1.The patent battle between Apple and Samsung has already lasted several months. The Cupertino company’s charges are based on the similarity of the shape of the tablet Korean company, and the main charge is the argument that Samsung had copied almost all the physical characteristics – from conception to intellectual property – in products and Samsung Samsung Galaxy S Galaxy Tab 10.1. Apple has so far prohibited the sales of Samsung’s new tablet in Germany and Australia and is continuing with actions in court elsewhere.

On Friday (14), however, a more interesting chapter in this fight was revealed. The Reuters news agency reported that Samsung’s lawyers told a federal judge that they could not tell the difference between an iPad and a Galaxy Tab 10.1.

A report by District Court Judge Lucy Koh reports that during the testimony of an analysis of more of the lawsuits filed by Apple, she asked one of Samsung’s lawyers if he could tell which was the tablet of your company. And the answer was: “Not at this distance, your honor.”

The situation gets even more embarrassing when the judge says: “Could any one of the lawyers tell me what the Samsung is the Samsung product and what is the Apple product?”. And one of Samsung’s lawyers took minutes to provide the correct answer.
