In this day and age, the Internet is very widespread. With google and yahoo and numerous sites, you have access to well, basically anything at the tips of your fingertips. With desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart phones, everything is right there. Which also means, there could be somewhat foolish things online such as Rich Kids of Instagram.
First of all, this is on Tumblr. A blogging platform. You can view the Rich Kids of Instagram blog right here. Instagram is a smart phone app, where you post pictures of whatever you want. Both Tumblr and Instagram are very popular among teens right now.
Now let’s view this blog. Rich Kids of Instagram is poorly put together. Not a very good theme, and their description reads, “They have more money than you and this is what they do.” Not very creative, but simple and too the point I suppose. I feel this blog was almost designed to make everyone else feel bad.
Different images on the blog include mansions, pools, cars, a $100,000 receipt, and even a gold iPhone!
All in all, I think this ‘Rich Kids of Instagram’ thing is just going to be a fad and everyone will forget about it in a couple of weeks.
