Reading The Book is Better Than Reading E-book

Usually, the ebook has a pdf format. To convert from word to pdf is not difficult. Now many programs that offer the service converter pdf. Ebook also usually available for free on the Internet. Although some are paid.

Reading books is a fun hobby. At least for some people who simply love to read books. Be it magazines, newspapers, comics, or anything else. But I have never heard of a hobby to read ebook.

Why did I make that seemed provocative title? Because at least that’s what I experienced. While idly looking ebook a famous novel in Indonesia and to download it, I feel very happy because they can get it for free novel.

But what happened? New read a few pages in the ebook novel, my eyes are sore and tired. Different from the usual reading books / novels in book form.

The computer has a considerable level of radiation. If we look at the computer continuously, automatically our eyes will feel heavy and sore.

For example if you play computer games or watching tv in a long time. Do you feel dizzy or feel pain in your eyes and sore? : D

Well if you read the ebook a long leafs, we automatically see it continue to monitor and sometimes we like to forget the time so it takes 3 hours did not feel we have passed. Especially if you are playing the game PES. Surely you can lose track of time. hehe

By the way, you prefer to read a book or read the ebook?

I do not own a Kindle or other reader. I don’t like them. Books are indeed more readily available through eReaders, but frankly, I will never get to the “regular” books I want to read in my life, so getting an electronic device may not render any benefit. I also do not wish to stare at a lit plastic screen while holding a plastic box. Where is the romance, the familiarity, the warmth? Nowhere. Just because something is new, or neat, or electronic, does not mean it is better for a lot of people. I am in that category of dinosaurs who prefer real books.

I totally agree with Lynn, I like (prefer) holding a book in my hand and being able to go back and reread a part that went over my head the first time and the intimacy one can feel turning the pages. I guess I am just old fashioned that way. Long live print!
