Sometimes doing complex Mac OSX keyboard shortcuts really fast can look cool to people who are watching.  In this article I will show you some of them.  For these to work you need at least OSX Tiger and a fairly modern Apple keyboard. 

One of the best ones, and it can be handy too, is to open applications without using the keyboard.  To open Safari to the following keyboard shortcuts in a row:

Apple-Shift-A  then hit S then hit Apple-O

That should open Safari.  Now do it as fast as you can!  If you want to open Firefox do the following:  

Apple-Shift-A then hit F then hit Apple-O

Now to switch between applications hit Apple-Shift-Tab 

Try this with lots of Applications open to quickly flick through all your applications.  If you do it fast and casually it will look pretty cool.

Now to sleep your Mac hit Option-Apple-Eject

And to shut down your Mac hit Control-Option-Apple-Eject

Now here’s a fun one!  Please save all your work and expect your Mac to crash.  It may or may not crash depending how powerful it is.  And to get out of this you have to be patient.  To do it hit Apple-Shift-A then Apple-A then Apple-O

Every app in your Mac will open!  If you have lots of apps its a sight to see…
