On 12.08.17, In After the war argument in court, Apple and Samsung finally asked for peace. Chief Judge Lucy Koh on Wednesday, asking the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the two companies to discuss settlement options, conducted atleast once over the phone.

Peace talks, said Koh, should be done before the trial moves to jurydeliberations next week. According to Koh,it is time to make peace, because of a dispute the two companies could have an impact on one or both sides.
“I see there is a risk for both parties if the jury had convicted,” said Koh, such as Apple Insider quoted by Reuters on Friday (17/08/2012).
As is known, in this patent dispute trial, Apple not only wants a ban on the sale of certain products Samsung is alleged to have violated the design of the iPhone and the iPad, but also damages reach $ 2,5 billion.
