First things first you should know what device you have whether it be iPhone or iPod, this is one of the most important and crucial steps. Even more crucial than that is knowing what device software you have,meaning which version or update you have of the current iOS build. And lastly you should of course know your method of jailbreaking.
So now you know what device you have? Good. We’re on our way to jailbreaking your iDevice. Now depending on the method of jailbreaking you need to make sure you have the correct software pretaining to your specific Device. If you don’t have the correct one, well, things can go bad.Fast.
Okay, so now that we have the device part of jailbreaking sorted out it’s time to move onto the software part of the process. Now most methods work only to a specific software but some actually work with all from the same base number meaning it could work on 4.1,4.2,4.3,4.x,…..etc.etc. This is another CRUCIAL CRUCIAL part, you have to make SURE you get the right mehtod for the correct software.
Now on to the method, some methods are a simple click, others are much more difficult to get done. Now there’s many methods you have to know which is the easiest for the software version you have. Also make sure you follow the directions in it very closely or things can go wrong. And once again make sure you BACKUP YOUR DEVICE, that is the MOST IMPORTANT thing which I am unable to stress enough.
