iPhone Case Review: Trident Kraken A.m.s

My review for the Trident Kraken A.M.S. three stage protective iPhone 4/4s case.

I just got the Trident Kraken A.M.S. case for my iPhone, and first impressions are really good. I got the black and green case, and it looks really nice, mainly black with green accents, all depending on how you use it. So far not only does this case look really nice, but it feels nice also, its nice and heavy duty, and feels like you could throw it on the ground and it still work with not one bit of damage, but the thing with this case, you get to choose how much protection you want.

This phone case has three stages of protection, and you get to choose how protective you want to be.

For this phone case you can just have the silicone case, the silicone with the front Polycarbonate and scree protector, or all three, silicone case, front Polycarbonate case, and back Polycarbonate case. And not only does it just protect your phone from drops, the case also protects your ear jack and power plug port with a silicone plug, and a silicone plug over your volume switch.

For the look of the case I think whether you choose option two (silicone case, and front poycarbonate cover), or option three (with all three parts), I think the phone looks amazing, although I don’t think if you were just using the silicone alone, it looks all that great.

Along with the three case options, and the dust silicone covers over your ports, and build in screen protector, another cool thing Trident added to the Kraken case is an interchangeable media stand on the back to prop up your phone in portrait or landscape mode, you also have the option to buy different parts to change out your media stand, like a bike mount, or car mount, etc.

My rating:
Color and design-19.5/20 (I love the color, and choices)
Size-17.5/20 (The size isn’t to bad, its a lot bigger than a regular iPhone but it will provide a lot of protection)
Durablilty/Built quality-18/20 (The phone is really durable and heavy duty, but the one problem I have is the volume buttons seem like their cheep, but it doesnt cause a problem with using them and isn’t a big deal)
Features-19/20 (It has lots of cool features and things I wouldn’t think to see in a phone)
Vaule/Worth the buy- 20/20 (It has a lot of things in the box and its worth the buy especially if you find it cheaper somewhere)
