Tons of interesting Mac facts, like what OSX stands for…?

OSX stands for: Operating System Extreme.

The founder of Apple (Steve Jobs) got fired from his own company.  Though he later got rehired.

USB stands for: Universal Serial Bus

The Mac Mini is the desktop version of the MacBook Pro as they both have the same specs.

Apple recently changed their name from Apple computers to just Apple.

There is no difference  between Apple’s desktop and laptop keyboards anymore.

Windows is still trying to get the stability of Mac OS9.

The Windows operating system runs better on Mac hardware than PC hardware.

Once a Mac Classic (1990) beat an Intel Dell running Windows (2007) in a speed race.

Camino is the Mac native version of Firefox.  It can be downloaded here.

Back in the OS9 days there was a version of Internet Explorer for Mac.

These are very interesting & true facts. I very much agree with Windows running better on a Mac. I recently used bootcamp to partition my mac into both OS X & XP & it runs better than any PC I’ve had.

I love all your articles on mac’s people here are still sceptical but I think it has more to do with the price, what they don’t realise is that a mac will out live any pc! great article.
