A handy computer technique…

Today let’s discuss the computer mouse.
As most of you know it’s that little pointing device, some with a wire, and some without. Well, I know it sounds kind of basic but it is rather necessary. Typically they have two buttons.. The left-most button is your point and click button, whereas the right-most button is your menu button. So, this makes the “COPY & PASTE” function much easier. What you do is, place your mouse arrow to the left of the text you want to share with another document, like an email that you’d like to share with a friend who doesn’t have access to the Internet. So, like I said–1.–Place your mouse arrow to the left of the text you want to share with another document.2.-Once the arrow becomes a vertical line, depress the left mouse button, and drag it down across the page until you reach the end of that part of the document you want to share.–3–At this point you’ll notice all the text you dragged across has been highlighted–4– now point on some of that highlighted text, right click–{a menu appears}–point at the word “COPY”, and “LEFT” click on it. Now, open up a word processing program–{like MS Word Pad or MS Word}-RIGHT-CLICK in the text area–{a menu appears}–point at the word “PASTE”, and LEFT-CLICK on it. You will then see what you wanted to read before you. AT this point you can point to your “EDIT” menu in the upper left, Left-Click, “SELECT ALL” , and make the font size of your choosing. Now you can color it, save it to a file name, and maybe print it out to share with a friend who has no Internet access.
