This is a very simple process to make custom ringtones and text alerts. Here are the steps.
1st. Go to www.tonethis.com and download the FREE download and install. Make and account and choose your service carrier and phone type. *Note: if your phone is not listed, choose a similar phone. For example, if you have the LG Env Touch or LG Env 3, choose the LG Env or similar.
2nd. Run the program and open the file [song, audio clip etc.]
3rd. Select the portion you want to send to your phone [not too big, as some phones won't allow it]
4th. Click send to phone and you should recieve it shortly.
5th. Download on your phone and save it as a ringtone, and your set!
