The process of a building a computer from its parts.
Learning how to build a computer is and can save you lots of money. The first step to building a computer is getting all the parts and making sure they are all compatible. Now that you have all the parts you can start assembling the computer. Find a table or another flat surface and also wear an anti-static wrist strap just to be safe. Now open up the case and screw the motherboard firmly into place. Then place the processor or the CPU into the socket; and then put the heat sink on top. Next place the RAM into their sockets and clip them on firmly. Now you need to screw the hard drive and the optical drive into the case. Once you have done that connect them onto the IDE or the SATA slot on your motherboard. Now screw the power supply securely into place and connect it to the hard drive(s), the optical drive(s) and the mother board. Now plug in all the cables and turn your computer on. Now install the windows or any other operating system. Now if you want you can add any extra items to improve your computer experience but that is all you need for a basic computer. Finally after about an hour you are ready to enjoy your new home made computer.
