On 11.11.15, In A look at the new enhanced eBooks and how they effectively help readers.
Currently, most eBooks are only for reading plain black and white online books. However, new “enhanced” versions of existing eBooks are being made. They will be better and more interactive than the ones on the market now. These books will have feature new pictures, audio, and sounds/songs playing in the background. Videos could also accompany the eBook.
Basically, it’s as if complementing CDs, videos, and maps, and etc. are integrated into the book.
Although in some books the audio feature will help readers understand, some people argue that in other cases it will just become a distraction.
At the current time, these books are not available to everyone, as there are only around 1000 beta copies available in the world. When this feature does become public, the creators hope it will greatly change the way people “read”.
