Computer Mad

Do computers frustrate you?

Wow, what a mess in the computer world. Computer are made for the Generation of today, but what about the generation of yesterday. Just about everyone 35 years old and above is computer illiterate and I am not sure the generation of today is much better off. I will admit they can do more than us old ones. Why can’t they make a computer that is easy.

Can’t the brains that made these contraptions in the first place make them for everyone. I have a great idea. Make a computer I can talk to or type to and it can answer me. Right now when I have a problem I call my kids and say “This is what happened,” or “This is what I want to do.” Then I have a 50- 50 chance of them giving me the way to fix it or to do it. If they had a computer that I could just type those questions into and a little balloon came up and told me how to fix it. I would be less frustrated.

A computer company could make so much money if I could go into a store and say this is what I want to do with it. I want a word processor made by this company. I want photo album that does this to work with this camera. I want to load cd’s to play with my I pod. I want to download my movies in a certain area. I want to be able to animate drawings. I want to have wireless. And I want to be able to use the internet.

Boom, now I have a computer made for me. Will I ever want to do more? Probably! Let me ask my computer like I would ask my kids. I need to have a accounting program to keep track of bills and pay them on time. Bingo, my little balloon pops up and says,” Our program Accounting for Dummies program will do this. Please go to our sight and download it for $19.95.” Then when you get it the program walks you through everything by their balloons.

Computer companies would make a fortune and people would buy their products. Basically I guess I am asking to put my kids in the computer, but give them all the right answers. It would keep my computer free of wasted space and keep the speed up. Most importantly it would make me less frustrated.

If I get disinterested in something. I just say I want to get rid of this. And Pop, my balloon comes up and tells me how or I want my computer optimized and again Pop, the answer.

What a wonderful computer world we would have…
