Comparing IPhone 4S Battery With Other Phones – The iPhone 4S problem of battery drain has been a hot topic since last week. Apparently, the service tracking system iOS 5 is primarily responsible for the rapid loss of the battery. Apple has acknowledged the situation and released a beta version of IOS 5.0.1, an update that fixes the problem.

But the iPhone 4S is not the only smartphone with the battery life boring. As my colleague Jared Newman says, “sucking batteries smartphones.” For example, when lightning HTC and Samsung Charge began earlier this year, customers reported a poor battery life of each phone was hung in Verizon’s 4G network.

We wanted to see how the iPhone 4S compared to other top smartphones (for a complete list, see table below). Since this is a simple comparison of the sample is not the last word in the life of the battery of tests. How We Test
Our laboratory analysts expect the phone battery during normal playback video files at full brightness, sound volume is set loud enough to be heard clearly in office. We run tests for more than PCWorld Wi-Fi network. The video file is a 720p HD trailer for an animation that take place in a continuous loop until the battery gives off, when we record the life of the battery, standard class stopwatch. Our analysts conduct two laboratory passes the test and then calculate the average time in hours and minutes.

Results
Samsung Epic Touch 4G (Galaxy S II, Sprint phone) was the longest battery life of 7 hours, 22 minutes. T-Mobile MyTouch 4G sliding runner, running 6 hours, 33 minutes. Surprisingly, the iPhone 4S came close third – despite all the problems and controversies – it’s time to 6 hours, 14 minutes. The remaining phones were similar, and significantly shorter operating times. It did not seem to matter what the manufacturer is either because the results were the basis for a mixture of HTC phones, LG and Motorola.

Mystery of battery life
Judging by our results, 4S battery iPhone looks great, especially since the others are so depressing. Fortunately, you have many ways to preserve the battery life of your phone: You can adjust the screen brightness, turn off location services, buy an extra battery, buy a battery box, easy go to GPS, etc. .

But really, why the owners of the combined affect their use smartphone? Smartphone technology is rapidly changing, get everything from 3D displays for quad-core processors for faster networks.
