Lots of good free software freeware and open source. Freeware license means you are free to install and use the software for free, without time limit and amount of usage. Open Source license means you can modify the source code and distribute it with certain conditions which are usually free, too! Suppose you want to change the looks, language, one should not do if the software is open source licensed. From word processing, data, graphics, audio, etc. are all there. What about quality? Is worse than the version of the software cost? Not really, relatively the same. Feel free to try!

Before we look at the list we first distinguish the various software licenses:

1. Freeware, which means the software is free to use, you can not see the source code the software, usually accompanied by the terms may not modify the software.
